You would never know what my husband got me for valentine's day! A tiffany and co. diamond necklace! I love it when he surprises me like that!

Peek-a-boo

Have you ever seen those Peek-a-poohs. Well I have never seen them until my girls bought them. Who knew something with such a revolting name could be so cute! You can hang them on your cell phone or anything! I recommend them to any Winnie the pooh lover! 

Honeybees

My daughter Taylor, is taking action by participating in her class's bee project. is part of the Disney Environmental Challenge held by Disney. I always thought bees were something to be scared of but when Taylor told me all about them I felt a special kind of bond with them:) Did you know they pollinate more than $14 billion of crops in California! Wow that really changes your thoughts about them. I just wanted to throw that out to warn you that next time you see a bee think twice about swatting it dead:0

Miley, Miley, and Miley

My kids' new obsession is Miley Cyrus. Ever since the smash TV show, HANNAH MONTANA came out all my kids could think of is Miley. Is it her looks, her voice, her humor, or her appearance. Well, she does have all of those but even better she is a great role model. She doesn't take drugs, smoke, or drink. In a PEOPLE magazine article it said that her parents kept her very grounded. She acts her age by not wearing high, high heels or wearing immodest things. We took our kids to see the new movie HANNAH MONTANA 3-D MOVIE. It was one of the best movies I have seen this year. Even better it was rated G. My favorite performance was when she sang I MISS YOU. The song was written about her grandfather who had passed away a couple of years before. That movie is a must see!! She is no Britney spears or Paris Hilton. She is Miley Cyrus.

Life is hectic as an Aplanalp. You wake up, you get dressed (in our house it takes 5 minutes just to pick out a shirt), then the kids go to school, you eat lunch, then pick up the kids at school, drop them off at a playdate or tennis, make dinner, eat, get ready for bed, and watch TV. I swear there is no time in the day. if you don't hear from me for awhile then you know why?!

Start of Something New

Well it is finally the time to introduce our first ever family blog!! Taylor, our oldest, had a fun time setting it up:) So I guess we will start off by saying hello. Hello, My name is Stacey Aplanalp. My husband Robi and I have 3 adorable kids, Taylor (11 years old), Addison (8 years old), and Avery (5 years old). We live in Danville California, just a few minutes away from San Ramon. We love our house, which we totally refurnished. I hope that you have a fun time seeing what the Aplanalp household is like!!
